The Cash & Cans Barrel Race is hosted at the

Lac Cardinal Recreation Area in between Berwyn and Grimshaw, AB. Sanctioned with the Peace Country Barrel Racing Association, this event brings riders and spectators from across northern Alberta and BC. Started in 2024, we are proud of the support and growth we have achieved since starting this event.

Held during the first weekend in July, it's two days of barrel racing, FREE admission, food trucks, merch, local business booths, and a dance with live music.
